Journey Within is the trading name of Kirsten Lind. This privacy policy explains how Journey Within uses any personal information that I collect about you when you use my services.

Journey Within takes clients’ security and privacy very seriously. Information is never shared with third parties, and only necessary personal information is collected and retained in order to provide my services to you.

Personal information collected by Journey Within and my website is stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the public.

What information does Journey Within collect about you?

- Inquiries - via email, telephone or website – includes name, telephone and email address – used to respond to inquiry and any follow up required.

- Booking forms- submitted via website, by email or in paper format in class - includes contact details - in order to contact you about the classes and services that you attend. These are stored securely, with password protection and only kept as long as required by law.

- Mailing list (administered by Mailchimp) includes name and email address – opt in at registration on Mailchimp, Journey Within website or via opt-in on booking forms - used for all forms of marketing of all Journey Within classes and services and general information and updates on classes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please use the unsubscribe option which is on every mailing or you can also request to be taken off of our mailing list by sending an email to journeywithin.kirstenmarie@gmail.com

- Waiting lists for classes – includes name, email address and telephone – used to communicate about availability of spaces in classes and follow ups.

- Website - Journey Within uses trusted technologies; Squarespace cookies and analytics and Facebook pixels, to customise content and advertising, to provide social media features and to analyse traffic to this site in order to provide a better experience on this website and to customise mailings, advertisements and content. You can manage cookies from any website directly in your web browsers settings.

Access to your information and correction (Subject Access Request)

Third Parties

Journey Within will not disclose your personal information to third parties unless disclosure is either necessary to prevent a threat to life or health, authorised or required by law, reasonably necessary to enforce the law or necessary to investigate a suspected unlawful activity.

Journey Within's privacy policy is reviewed regularly and, as such Journey Within reserves the right to change the policy at any time. Should this occur, all amendments will be posted on the website. This privacy policy was last updated February 2021.
